Access is a powerful thing. When you give people access to you, you give them a key to your life. You literally invite them into your world. That’s not to be taken lightly. At least not for me. If you get a key or access to my private life, there are going to be some expectations. The same way you see the benefits that go along with having me in your life, I need to see the same in you. This is not a fairy tale. I’m real. I’m not a character or a figment of your imagination. I have standards. Shucks you can’t even get access to a gym without making some kind of investment – well if you want to take off on this flight called life with me, you better bring something to the table. For a long time, I used to think people had a moral compass. I used to think people had integrity and respect for others. Then, I found out a lot of these folk out here are users. They will come into your life and the only reason they get close to you is because they have some selfish hidden agenda. The more discerning you are and the more you challenge people at the conversation level, with simple yet deep questions like “What the heck do you want?” THEN and only then, do you start seeing everyone is not playing with a full deck. Some of these people out here are missing some stuff like basic human decency. They will take and take and leech from you and then call you stupid for helping them. I can’t tell you how many times I ignored my inner voice and let people slide only to end up wishing I listened to the voice of wisdom when it yelled out to me “Don’t be dumb!”
Today my advice is really simple but actually very deep: DON’T BELIEVE ANYTHING A PERSON SAYS IF THEIR ACTIONS SAY OTHERWISE. I’m serious. Bad behavior is a great indicator that you’re dealing with someone who’s about to take you down. You don’t need that. Make people accountable. The users won’t like it, but who cares. It’s not your responsibility to be looking out for the feelings of degenerates. When people act rude and inconsiderate of your feelings, take it as a sign that you need to remove yourself! Get away from them. They suck. If they wanted to change, they would. It’s not your job to sit and wait for them to get their act together. You have places to go and things to do. Take off with people who deserve your company. These low lives who want to act like they don’t know what they’re doing are not worth your time or attention. Don’t give them access to your life unless you’re into drama, chaos and confusion. If you’re dealing with a self love deficit, find a counselor. Message me for personal counseling and life coaching. I will do my best to help you release your cognitive distortions and heal from your past. You owe it to yourself to get past this toxicity. Stop letting joy thieves into your space. It’s time to take off. Ready? Set! Go!
