I’m not trying to impose my values or what interest me and what makes me feel honored on anyone else.
You don’t have to be for me. But I am.
And that’s ultimately all that matters at the end of the day.
I can handle the heartache of you not thinking I’m worthy of what I think I’m worthy of.
What I will not ever do is keep people close to me while abandoning myself to get their approval. I’ve done that in the past and it got me nothing. Those people still don’t value me.

No one else can tell you what’s important to you but you.
Too many people are in relationships that devalue rather than add value. Sure, we can say this person is doing this and this person is doing that to us. But at some point we have to take responsibility and say we are allowing it.
Today, take an inventory of your life and who you are allowing in it. Do you share the same values? Values equal alignment. Alignment is so important to your well being and your happiness in life. #alignment #values #priorities #itsyourlife #decided #relationships
◦ His mercies are new every morning.
◦ I used to seek out satisfaction looking for things that were outside of me. What would my husband do for me today? My family, friends,…
◦ How would others fill me with what I should have found in my relationship with God and myself? I came to the conclusion that the satisfaction I get from being in my calling and looking to God was all I ever needed.
◦ God’s love sets us free to navigate our lives in faith. Jeremiah wrote, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end.” God’s love and mercy, the prophet tells us, are “new every morning.”
God’s formula for Joshua’s success. God said, “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” (Joshua 1:8 NIV).
